
The League of Volunteers - LOV and the Newark Arts Council are bringing an afternoon of Jazz with music of the 1930s and 1940s performed by Swing Fever. Led by Bryan Gould, Swing Fever features top musicians from the swing jazz area. Spend an afternoon with the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, Louis Jordan, Billie Holiday, George Gershwin, Cole Poter, Rodgers and Hart, Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, Harold Arlen and more. Doors open a 1 pm and the concert begins at 2 pm. Complimentary refreshments at intermission.
