Gun To His Head, Victim Robbed In Newark: Suspect Drawing Released
The crime happened at 1:30 in the afternoon Monday.

NEWARK, CA — A man driving through Newark Monday afternoon endured a terrifying ordeal - he was forced to drive at gunpoint as he was robbed, according to police.
Police received the call at 1:32 p.m. The victim told them he was in his vehicle, stopped at a red light, when he was approached by two Black males at Cedar Boulevard and Central Avenue. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim’s head and ordered him to unlock the doors.
Both suspects got into the back seat of the vehicle and ordered the victim to drive.

The suspects ordered the victim to give them his cash. He handed over all the cash he had, he told police. After driving about two miles, the suspects ordered the victim to pull over. They got out of the car and fled the area.
Police have released information about one of the suspects. He is described as a Black man, 25-30 years old, approximately 5'7, thin build, with short hair, big lips, and facial acne. The suspect was wearing a blue short sleeve shirt and black jeans.
