Deer In The Headlights Detained On San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge

OAKLAND, CA — If you've ever doubted that wildlife is in our midst right here in the busiest of cities - take a look at this.

CHP officers spotted a deer on the Bay Bridge linking Oakland and San Francisco. She looked regal standing on the fog-shrouded bridge.

The social media team for Oakland CHP was clever in its post, "This morning a couple of our officers stopped a doe for toll evasion, on the Bay Bridge. She said she usually pays it, but today she was a buck short."

This isn't the first time that Oakland CHP has tickled our funny bone. Earlier this month they were commenting on spilled messes and dead animals.
