No Health Insurance? 7 more days to enroll.

Get Health Insurance by Feb 15. Free local assistance at Tri-City Health 510-252-6808 or Newark Library Feb 10 (Tue) 3:30-6:30PM.

Life is busy, and you have not taken care of your health insurance. You do not know if you can afford it or how. We get it. It is why we are here to help you. All the assistance is free either through insurance agent, at Community Clinics like Tri-City Health, County office or Library event.

You will get Federal tax penalty if you do not have Health Insurance starting this year. The penalty in 2014 is relatively small $95 per adult or 1/2 of that per child or 1% of your family income which ever is greater. It will go up to $325 or 2% for 2015. It’s required for legal residents to obtain qualified Health Insurance. After all nobody is immune to the illness or accidents. You need to hurry up and do it before Open Enrollment closes on Feb 15 midnight. It is raining so why don’t you start it today? Or walk in to get help at Alameda County Libraries.
