The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau said today the pedestrian killed in a car collision on Tuesday was identified as Hardeep Singh, 27, of Union City. The fatal collision was reported to police just after 5 a.m. in the 32000 block of Alvarado-Niles Road near Almaden Boulevard, according to police. First responders transported Singh to the hospital where he was declared dead, police said. Police said the involved driver and witnesses at the scene are cooperating with investigators.
