A pedestrian was killed on Fremont Boulevard this morning in a crash that was initially labeled hit-and-run. However, police say the driver has returned to the scene and is cooperating with investigators.It happened at around 6:40 a.m. Police found the man lying on the shoulder of the road. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.One lane of Fremont Boulevard, between Ice House and Old Warm Springs Road, is expected to remain closed until noon as investigators complete their probe of the crash.The car that hit the victimis described as a silver Lexus ES 330 sedan.
