Report of Trespasser in Tri-City Area Ends with Arrest of Man Allegedly Found with Drugs
Police arrested the 54-year-old Fremont man for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia, according to police.

Police arrested a 54-year-old Fremont man Wednesday evening, after they responded to a report of a trespasser and found the suspect with drugs and drug paraphernalia. At 5:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to a home in the 1800 block of Washington Boulevard, police said.
The person who reported the incident told officers the home was supposed to be vacant, but the person saw the suspect sitting inside, according to police. Officers searched the home and contacted the suspect.
Officers then searched the suspect, who is on probation, and found hypodermic needles, a small plastic bag of a substance suspected to be crystal methamphetamine and a glass pipe, according to police. Police arrested the man for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia, according to police.
