Scared of Clowns? Residents Invited to 'Munyan Street CarnEvil'

Coulrophobia (noun): 1. An abnormal fear of clowns.

Scared of clowns? One Newark resident offers a spooktacular haunted house experience perfect for those who suffer from severe coulrophobia.

Tri-City residents are invited to stop by the Munyan St. CarnEvil for a healthy dose of hair-raising horror this weekend.

Owner Darin Dinis, who is a member of the California Haunters Society, says it is free to visit the haunted house. Donations are accepted and a portion of the proceeds to charity, according to Dinis.

The house is open on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Rain or shine. Adult and children accompanied with an adult.

Munyan St. CarnEvil is located at 36725 Munyan Street in Newark.
