COLLEEN MCCRYSTLE PRESENTS "VISIONS OF MAUI" EXHIBIT AT NEWPARK MALL'S CULTURAL CORNER

The Installation Features a Multimedia Response to the Flora, Fauna and People of Maui

By popular
demand, NewPark Mall’s Culture Corner
extends the exhibit for master woodcarver,
Godfried Kesse
through July.
The exhibit features new art pieces – gyenyame chairs –in addition to masks, canes and drums previously on exhibit. Gyenyame means except for God. It symbolizes the supremacy of God and is used in
decoration, a reflection on the deeply religious character of the Ghanaian
people.

 The exhibit is FREE
and open to the public. For more information, visit www.NewParkMall.com. The Cultural Corner,
which opened in May 2011, provides exhibit space for the work of local
artisans, including painters, sculptors, photographers and digital
artists.
