The Newport Harbor High School Drama Department was honored for its fall production of Noises Off, which was named the best production in Orange County by the California Educational Theatre Association Festival last weekend.
Student Jared Deiro won the Flip Reade award of excellence in movement and pantomime; Katie Powell, Jeni Drake, Tal Kirk, Dani McMahan, Keach Siriani-Madden, Emmalyn Jouglet, Brian Call, Sawyer Stahl and Jared Deiro were recognized for their excellent acting; Tori Harris, Jillian Paul, Allyson Parker, Trent Brown, Ana Figueroa, Vanessa De Luna and Baron Logan were recognized for outstanding technical achievements.
