Blackband Design Launches New Concierge Service to Bring Refreshed Interior Design to Local Residents' Homes in a Snap

Blackband Design, an Orange County, California-based interior design studio, has announced the launch of Concierge by Blackband Design, a new, mobile design service that will bring affordable, custom interior designs to clients’ doors.

“Interior design doesn’t have to be expensive or overwhelming,” says Wendy Blackband, co-owner and interior designer at Blackband Design. “Over the years, we have been approached by many of our clients who are just looking to freshen up their space without having to do a full home design or renovation. This need for custom design on a small project basis is what inspired our new service, through which we now provide convenience and high-quality design in a short time frame.”

The Concierge by Blackband Design service will work as follows:

Clients will contact Blackband Design and set an appointment for an in-home visit with Blackband’s Concierge Design Team. During that appointment, the Blackband team will work with clients to create a design plan for their selected room or space, based on the level of service the customer chooses. After the appointment, the Blackband Concierge Team will gather all design items needed for the project, and return to the client’s home for a one-time installation of design elements.

“Many people know their home’s potential, but they don’t quite know how to bring their design to the next level,” explains Blackband. “That’s where we come in. With our new concierge service, we are able to really listen to our clients’ needs, and bring them beautiful, custom designs quickly.”

Concierge by Blackband Design will offer three tiers of service to help clients achieve a new custom design for their home. Each tier provides the client with a minimum budget for product purchases and design fees, enabling them to plan ahead for manageable design costs, according to Blackband.

The three tiers of the Concierge by Blackband Design service include:

• “Snap” - For clients looking for a quick change that will freshen up a space, the “Snap” level provides clients with a fresh look through the addition of new accessories, including custom design pillows, artwork, mirrors, and table lamps. This level is offered to clients at a minimum of $2,500 towards product purchases, in addition to a $100 hourly design fee with a minimum of five hours of service.
• “Crackle” - This level of service enables clients to re-design home spaces with a combination of accessories and accent furniture, including ottomans, side tables, and benches. This level is offered to clients starting at $5,000 towards product purchases, in addition to a $100 hourly design fee with a minimum of five hours of service.
• “Pop” - For clients who are looking for a more dramatic design change in their home, the “Pop” level will offer deeper design features to completely transform the look of a room. In addition to accessories and custom furniture pieces, the Blackband Concierge Team will present clients with a custom design plan that includes wallpaper, rugs, window treatments, slipcovers, etc. This level will is offered to clients at a minimum of $7,500 towards product purchases, in addition to a $100 hourly design fee with a minimum of five hours of service.
