Crenshaw Sets Snell Straight (Estancia High School)

Steve Crenshaw. science teacher at Estancia High school schools Vicki Snell (trustee of the Estancia District) about what happened....

AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOU WHO ARE NOT ON FACEBOOK....
Steve Crenshaw is the teacher who has suffered illnesses as a result of the sewage problem at Estancia High School.

Stephen Crenshaw: Vicki Snell - perhaps before you encourage people to view the videos of Tim Marsh and Daniel Ginsberg, you should do a little investigating on your own. You might learn that Tim Marsh repeated said that they had found a few more uncapped pipes beyond those that were originally located and repaired. It was more than a few! We're now somewhere over twenty total pipes that have been repaired! You might also ask Tim Marsh just when it was that he first became aware of the problem. He said during the meeting Tuesday night that they only became aware of the problem in March 2017. Hmm? In late January or early February 2016 he stood in my classroom with me, Mike Halt, Tim Tolzda, Mark Cygan, and I believe Pat Bullock, and said that they were sure that they were certain that they had found and repaired all of the problems. Yeah right! As for the report by Mr. Ginsberg, which board members were so excited about (it was obvious), there were some problems also. The monitors were constantly failing, the district had turned on a high velocity fan in the HVAC system, prior to Mr. Ginsberg's monitors even being installed. Additionally, when the fan was turned off so that testing could be done without it diluting the air, we were also getting to that part of the year when student numbers are somewhat lower due to testing and then senior activities. We have told Mr. Marsh numerous times that the most common time for the gases to occur were after nutrition break in the morning, and following lunch! Fewer students, less restroom use? Before you get too excited about such things, perhaps you should do a little research yourselves

Stephen Crenshaw Oh, I forgot - perhaps it would have been prudent of you to do a little follow-up when you were first informed of this some time ago!
