DMV Still Down across Orange, Los Angeles County
Remember AAA has DMV services if you are unable to reach your local DMV. The reason for the DMV outage is still unknown.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The Orange County and Los Angeles County DMV computer outages are persisting to flummox workers. As of 10:30 on Wednesday, multiple Department of Motor Vehicles offices across the state remained out of commission.
The problem? a continuing computer malfunction, however authorities said offices are expected to come back online throughout the day.
DMV officials said the outage started on Monday.

Affected offices are still able to provide driving tests, help customers with paperwork, answer questions and reschedule appointments. The department noted that its website was not affected, so online services remain available.
AAA offices do provide DMV motor vehicle registration and renewal services, if you are a member of that organization. Show your valid AAA membership card at any office to receive those services. Title transfers, duplicate registration and other services are available.

Local offices affected by the outage include those in: Arleta, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Compton, Costa Mesa, El Monte, Fullerton, Glendale, Hawthorne, Hollywood, Inglewood, the Los Angeles Driver License Processing Center, Los Angeles Metro Business Service Center, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Newhall, Pasadena, Pomona, Santa Ana, Santa Monica, Torrance, Van Nuys, West Covina, West Hollywood, Westminster, Whittier and Winnetka.
