Johnson Attorneys Group Collects 331 Shoes in Shoe Drive for Soles4Souls
Newport Beach personal injury law firm collects shoes in effort to put an end to poverty in the U.S. and around the world.

Some 331 pairs of new and used shoes were collected in a shoe drive held by Newport Beach-based Johnson Attorneys Group. The law firm, with help from a few chiropractors and doctors, filled a large pickup truck stuffed with everything from sparkling high heels to flip flops and hiking boots and drove it to the Soles4Souls warehouse in Fullerton.
Soles4Souls is a global organization that has distributed some 26 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries since its founding in 2006. The company doesn't just hand out new shoes to poor people, but it sells used shoes to small businesses in very poor countries to help them make a living and uses the money they pay for them to buy the new shoes for the poorest of the poor.
Attorney James Johnson says that even small things done in the community can make a difference in people's lives. Mother Theresa is famous for saying, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.

Indeed that is what Mr. Johnson has been doing over the past decade since he started his personal injury law firm. He and his staff have been regular volunteers at the Second Harvest Food Bank, the Someone Cares Soup Kitchen and a sponsor of Walk Like MADD for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Last year, the law firm added Soles4Souls to its list of charities because he liked what they were doing and to date his law firm staff have collected 597 pairs of shoes for this worthy cause.
