For the 113th year, the docks will be decked with the festive yachts in Newport Harbor with "Jingle on the Waves."
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — We are just over 25 days from the 113th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade and Ring of Lights Hosted by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce. This year's celebration theme, "Jingle on the Waves!" is sure to be a festive sight.
Beautifully decorated yachts, boats, kayaks and canoes will sail along the harbor. This year's parade will be held Wednesday through Sunday, December 15-19, 2021.
The Newport Beach Boat Parade is annually viewed by over 1.5 million and is one of the largest boat parades you will likely ever see, organizers say.

"Millions of holiday lights are a part of the Newport Beach Boat Parade and Ring Of Lights decorations making Newport Bay a must-see for the holiday season, the organizers said on their website.
The tradition's humble beginnings included about 12 boats that sailed the Newport Beach harbor adorned with decorations.

"Things certainly have changed now," they write.

It is a far cry from one year ago when the Christmas Boat Parade was canceled.
