OCC Symphony, Chorale & Chamber Singers to Perform Baroque Masterworks
The Orange Coast College Symphony, Chamber Singers and Chorale will perform masterworks by Bach, Handel and Purcell

The Orange Coast College Symphony, Chamber Singers and Chorale will perform masterworks by Bach, Handel and Purcell on Saturday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Robert B. Moore Theatre
The performance will be directed by OCC Symphony conductor Dr. Chris Gravis, and music professors Eliza Rubenstein and Dr. Ric Soto.
“Audience members will recognize some of the tunes, including the famous ‘Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring’ while discovering some new delights as well,” says Rubenstein.

Two OCC music alums will perform solos for Bach’s cantata “Heart and Mind and Deed and Life,” and the combined choirs will sing Handel’s “other” Hallelujah chorus, from his oratorio “Judas Maccabaeus.”
