Passenger Brings Disneyland's California Screamin' to a Halt
The popular rollercoaster at California Adventure had to be stopped and evacuated when a guest exited on the wrong side of the ride.
Thrillseekers did some extra screaming on California Adventure’s rollercoaster California Screamin’ Tuesday when the ride had to be stopped and evacuated.
The evacuation was triggered when a guest exited on the wrong side of the ride, said a Disneyland spokeswoman. As a result, the ride’s operator had to shut down Screamin’ to give the guest time to exit correctly. The stoppage throws off the timing of the whole ride, forcing the evacuation and bringing the popular attraction offline for about an hour.
By Tuesday afternoon, the ride was up and running for Spring Break crowds.
