• Corona del Mar football strikes late to beat La Serna in thriller (pasadenastarnews.com) — Corona del Mar High pulled out a dramatic 30-24 win in Newport Beach over La Serna, scoring the go-ahead touchdown and two-point conversion with just over a minute left. Quarterback JD Annett threw for 289 yards and ran for two scores, while the Sea Kings' defense forced three turnovers to stay undefeated heading into their bye week.
