Refuge Calvary Chapel to Host Huntington Beach Job Fair on June 21

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Job seekers looking for new life and career opportunities will have the chance to meet face-to-face with dozens of Orange County’s top companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions at the Huntington Beach Job, College and Veterans Fair on Tuesday, June 21, at Refuge Calvary Chapel in Huntington Beach.

The event, which will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. is free and open to everyone, regardless of age, skill sets or education level. The church is located at 7800 Edinger Ave. in Huntington Beach. To register, visit www.refugefamily.com/job-fair.

Refuge Calvary Chapel is presenting the event in partnership with Church Job Fairs, which works with churches to present events throughout California. Church Job Fairs (www.churchjobfairs.org) helps provide job seekers with hope and encouragement, while introducing them to a welcoming local church and delivering enthusiastic job candidates to employers.

Participating recruiters will be interviewing to fill current job openings in accounting, administration, clerical, customer service, education, financial services, health care, nursing, law enforcement, management, manufacturing, non-profit, sales, transportation and more.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network, develop valuable contacts and get a foot in the door with respected companies that are actively hiring and should dress professionally and come equipped with a generous supply of resumes.

Refuge Calvary Chapel will also host a free resume writing and interviewing workshop on Tuesday, June 14, from 10 a.m.-noon. The session will offer valuable tips about writing and updating resumes, online job searches, how to dress for success and the best approaches to interviewing for a job.
