Residents Displaced In Newport Beach After House Fire

Several residents were displaced after a home in Newport Beach caught fire Sunday, the Daily Pilot reported.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Residents of a Newport Beach home were displaced after their home was red-tagged following a two-alarm fire Sunday evening, the Daily Pilot reported.

City firefighters were dispatched to Warwick Lane at around 7:12 p.m. in response to a structure fire "with flames apparent near one of the corners of the roof," Newport Beach Fire Department spokesperson Josh Leith told the newspaper.

All of the people living inside of the home. had already evacuated the two-level house by the time authorities arrived. No injuries were reported.

Roughly 16 units responded to the fire, including 45 personnel from Newport Beach, Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley, the report said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
