Rick Braun & Friends Headline O.C. Jazz Festival this weekend Jan. 23-25
For the best jazz and the best eats in OC, go to the Ocean Institute Annual Jazz Festival Fundraiser in Dana Point this weekend.
Friday night kicks off with the hot licks of Rick Braun and Friends Elliott Yamin (of American Idol fame) and Norman Brown. A host of the top restaurants in the area provide the best of their best eats: Luciana’s Ristorante, Gemmel’s, The Vintage Steakhouse, Brio’s Tuscany Grill, The Wine Bistro, The Point, Jack’s, Inka PeruvianGrill (courtesy of Lou de Stefano Catering) and El Torito.
Saturday night features Rick Braun and Friends, a silent auction, and a three-plus course gourmet offering by the executive Chefs of the St. Regis Monarch Beach, the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Montage Laguna Beach, Park Hyatt Aviara, Marriott Laguna Cliffs, and the Balboa Bay Resort.
Sunday’s Encore Concert showcases the soul-Latin jazz sounds of DW3. A fresh gourmet boxed lunch is included.
