A SHORT HORRIBLE STORY

A GUY LIKE DONALD TRUMP MOVES IN NEXT DOOR

Short Story; A GUY LIKE DONALD TRUMP MOVES IN NEXT DOOR

Let's say just for laughs that a guy like Donald Trump moves in next door. He's friendly at first ...he talks a lot but you like to listen. He has stories about his past neighborhood and his house. He brags a little about what he did to the house, how much money he made on the sale. There is that mildly disturbing part about how he failed to disclose some stuff and the new owners are going to have to pay for it, but he seems okay. He brings his wife out just a little bit like he is introducing Miss America ...she is pretty but doesn't say much and looks to him to see if it's okay.

The next day he borrows your lawn mower for the guy he's hired to mow his lawn, and whispers how much he is paying him...not much. He calls the worker a loser. He asks you to move your 2004 Toyota truck because some people are coming over and he wants them to see the house without that old car sitting in front. He talks about how rich his friends are and how glad he is that our neighborhood has no blacks or Mexicans or " chinks" . You don't even know what that means

The next day he makes some sort of slightly unsavory remark about you wife and talks bout her ""rack", but still there is something charming about him even though he has asked nothing about me or my family.

The fourth day he starts talking about our neighbor across the street and accuses him of being a loser and his wife as being a fat pig. He doesn't want to return the lawnmower and the other tools that I have loaned him . He continues to talk constantly about himself and what he's done and what he plans to do. He brags about his car, his clothes, his house and the other houses he's owned.

After the guy across the street compliments him, he says that "he's a great guy and his wife is great too"

You now find yourself peering out the window to see if he's out there and if he is you wait until he leaves You turn out your lights at night and even buy a darkening drape so he won't know you're home. You think about "building a wall"

You think about selling your house.
