The Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade seized the day Wednesday with the start of the 107th annual boat parade themed 'Seas the Holidays.'Thousands lined up along the 14.5-mile parade route for the start of the five-night event Wednesday. Orange County's most famous holiday tradition has a new twist this year with a new grand marshall each night.On Wednesday, Angels owner Arte Moreno took the helm. Tonight, U.S. Women's National Soccer players Christen Press and Amy Rodriguez will kick off day two followed by four "The Voice" alumni on Friday.The parade runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. If you don't have a place on a boat or a at one of the packed restaurants along the route, parade organizers recommend finding a spot at the Balboa Fun Zone.<iframe src width="460" height="500" data-src="http://widgets.patch.com/widget-maker/c4a9d4a177aecc5e550778e4b5e97dc6.html"></iframe>
