Misty May-Treanor (, Class of '95) the darling of beach volleyball and two-time Olympic gold medal winner, is scheduled to appear at the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/CSULB-Student-Recreation-and-Wellness-Center/333323550487" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Student Recreation and Wellness Center</a> at her alma mater, <a href="http://www.csulb.edu/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Long Beach State</a>, today (Thursday, Sept. 1) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to sign autographs in celebration of the center's one-year anniversary. She graduated with a BA in kinesiology/fitness from Long Beach State in 2002 and was inducted into the 49ers' Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004. A setter, May-Treaner led the college's 1998 women's volleyball team to a 36-0 record and the NCAA Division 1 championship. She was named the <a href="http://www.avca.org/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">American Volleyball Coaches Assn.'s</a> National Player of the Year in 1997 and '98.
