Tuesday Surf Report

You're not going to find any sizeable surf!

Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report.  Well, you're not going to find any sizeable surf out there today, that's for sure!  Yep, we're still looking at mostly small, but playful energy especially at the south facing breaks.

The conditions are starting off nice and clean early on, with a continued minor dose of energy.  We're seeing mainly south southwest swell and almost no northwest windswell to speak of.

That recipe is delivering some racy sectiony lines, with some fun pick and choose corners.   The small wave gear is definitely the call!!  Most Newport Beach spots are seeing knee-to waist-high waves, with the top south facing breaks pulling a few stomach-high plus sets.

Checking the tides, at 9:42 a.m it pushes up to a 3.9 high and then drops to a 1.9 low at 2:20 p.m.  If you're planning on paddling, a 3/2 fullsuit will do you right with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 62 degrees.  Have fun out there!
