• 92 EV Chargers Installed At Bay Area Affordable Housing Community (cleantechnica.com) — Middlefield Junction, a new 179‑unit affordable housing community in North Fair Oaks, now has 92 onsite EV charging points, including 76 Level 1 outlets and 16 Level 2 chargers. Residents will be assigned chargers as they get electric vehicles, with higher‑power spots reserved for heavier drivers. The project is powered by Peninsula Clean Energy’s renewable electricity. 
• Former North Fair Oaks soccer coach pleads no contest to statutory rape, other crimes (localnewsmatters.org) — Residents should know that a former coach at Summit Everest High School in North Fair Oaks has pleaded no contest to multiple felony charges involving unlawful sexual conduct with students. Prosecutors say the incidents occurred both at his home and on school property over several months. Sentencing is set for September, with a potential state prison term.
