• Suspect arrested after firing shots in North Fair Oaks (eastbaytimes.com) — An hours-long overnight standoff in a North Fair Oaks home ended safely when deputies used gas to arrest a man accused of firing shots on Warrington Avenue. Neighbors were evacuated while crisis negotiators and SWAT worked to remove family members, including a baby and elderly relative, before the suspect surrendered and was booked on multiple firearm and endangerment charges.
