1 Killed At San Fernando Valley Apartment Complex: Reports
The victim was next to an open car door, KTLA reported, and died at the scene, according to police.
LOS ANGELES — A person was killed in an overnight shooting at an apartment complex in the San Fernando Valley, according to police and media reports.
Police responded around midnight Sunday to the 7500 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, hearing gunshots as they arrived, Officer Norma Eisenman said.
The victim was next to an open car door, KTLA reported, and died at the scene, according to Eisenman.

Three people were taken into custody, two of whom were questioned and released, Eisenman said. The third was booked on suspicion of murder, according to Eisenman.
