20-Year-Old Killed By Train In North Hollywood Identified
Authorities have identified the young woman struck and killed by a train in North Hollywood Monday.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — The coroner's office Tuesday identified the 20- year-old female transient who was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in North Hollywood as Maria Loaiza.
Paramedics were sent to the 7200 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, near Sherman Way, about 8:10 a.m. Monday, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
Metrolink train No. 106 was on the Ventura County Line headed for Union Station at the time, according to the LAFD. No one was injured on the train.
