3 Firefighters Injured in North Hollywood Blaze

Four people were displaced and three firefighters were hospitalized with minor injuries after a house fire in North Hollywood early today.

The fire in the 11300 block of Delano Street was reported around 3:50 a.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Sean Hughes. The single-family house sustained significant damage, he said.

The fire was knocked down by 46 firefighters in 26 minutes, fire department spokesman Erik Scott said.

Three firefighters were hospitalized for treatment of minor burns, Scott said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, Hughes said, and no damage estimate was immediately available.
