3 Killed in Head-On Colision

Three people were killed, one person suffered critical injuries and another escaped with minor injuries from a head-on, two- vehicle collision in North Hills today.

The victims were described as men in their 20s, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash in the 8300 block of North Haskell Avenue at 2:50 a.m., Stewart said.

Two people died at the scene and another person was pronounced dead at an area hospital, said Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner’s office.

There was no other immediate information.
