Arizona Couple Get 5 Years for Burglarizing Miley Cyrus' North Hollywood Home

An Arizona man and woman were sentenced today to time behind bars for burglarizing pop star Miley Cyrus’ North Hollywood home.

Tylor Scott, 19, pleaded to one count of residential burglary and one count of grand theft stemming from the May 30 break-in at Cyrus’ home. Van Nuys Superior Court Judge Leslie Dunn immediately sentenced Scott to five years in prison.

Naomi Charles, 21, pleaded to one count of residential burglary. Dunn ordered and then suspended a four-year prison sentence and sentenced Charles to one year in jail and four years probation.

Other charges, including grand theft auto and the unlawful driving or taking of a Maserati sports car, were dismissed under the terms of the plea deals.

Jewelry, clothing and purses worth thousands of dollars, along with the Maserati, were taken during the burglary, according to prosecutors.

Cyrus’ 2014 white, four-door Maserati Quattroporte was found June 2 in Simi Valley. The pair have been jailed since their arrest June 5.
