LOS ANGELES, CA — A big rig crash has closed down the fast lanes on both sides of the Glendale (2) Freeway just south of Mountain Street in Glendale. The California Highway Patrol has issued a SigAlert for the area. A witness reported that the car came off a surface street, ran down an embankment and struck a truck on the northbound side of the freeway, according to the CHP.
