Car Crashes into LAX Terminal Critically Injuring Girl, 9
A car crashed into a utility room at Terminal 7, injuring a 9-year-old girl on the sidewalk.

A car crashed into a terminal utility room at Los Angeles International Airport this afternoon, injuring a young pedestrian as well as the vehicle’s driver and a passenger, authorities said.
The pedestrian, a 9-year-old girl, was in critical condition as a result of the crash, which happened about 4:50 p.m. at Terminal 7 on the departures (upper) level of the airport, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The vehicle’s driver and a passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Humphrey said, but their conditions were not immediately available.
All three patients were taken to a hospital, he said.

The car went partially into an external utility room above a stairwell, Humphrey said.
