Child, Woman Injured in High Speed North Hollywood Crash
The driver who hit them was suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

A driver suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol ended a one-minute chase in North Hollywood Tuesday night by crashing into a car, injuring a woman and a child, police said.
The driver was seen driving erratically in North Hollywood at 7:02 p.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Sara Faden.
The crash occurred at Saticoy Street and Whitsett Avenue, Faden said.

The woman and child were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not known. The suspect suffered bruises and was taken into custody.
The suspect’s name was not immediately available.
