Chuck E. Cheese Hit-and-Run Truck Driver Sought

The driver of a semi-trailer truck that struck the rear of a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Sun Valley remained at large today.
The impact left a large hole at the restaurant at Laurel Canyon and Roscoe boulevards and shook its games, according to Sgt. Jim Reid of the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Station. The restaurent is located just over the border from North Hollywood.
After what a witness called "several attempts at a funky turn" and causing damage around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, the driver drove away, Reid said.

Police suspect the driver was making a delivery to a nearby Ralphs market, Reid said.
There were no injuries reported.
