Coroner IDs Hit-and-Run Victim as Sun Valley Man

Authorities today identified a pedestrian who was killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in North Hollywood.

Erik Paez, 36, of Sun Valley died at the scene of his injury, which occurred at 3:35 a.m. Monday at Morella Avenue and Blythe Street, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

No description was available of the vehicle or the motorist. Anyone with more information on the case was urged to call police.
