Coroner's Office Releases Name of 4-Year-Old who Drowned
Officers got a call at 3:17 p.m. Sunday about a missing child in North Hollywood and subsequently found the youngster in the pool.

Authorities today released the name of a 4-year- old drowning victim who was found floating in a North Hollywood swimming pool.
Assistant Coroner Chief Ed Winter said an autopsy was pending to confirm the cause of death, but noted that Bryant Placencia was found without a pulse and was not breathing when pulled from his family’s pool on Sunday afternoon.
Responding officers administered CPR, but the boy was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Officers got a call at 3:17 p.m. Sunday about a missing child in the 5900 block of Craner Avenue and subsequently found the youngster in the pool, said Lt. Brian Morrison of North Hollywood Division.
