Crews Knock Down Fire At Textile Storage Building In North Hollywood
Some 47 firefighters battled the fire and were able to achieve knockdown after 48 minutes.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters battled a blaze at a textile storage building Sunday near the Hollywood Burbank Airport.
The fire was reported at 11:35 a.m. Sunday at 6818 N. Vineland Ave. in North Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Some 47 firefighters battled the fire and were able to achieve knockdown after 48 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The department said the textile storage created heavy fire load and would require significant overhaul. The city Department of Transportation was requested to assist with traffic control while fire crews remained on scene.
The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety was also requested.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
