Dispute Between Driver, Man who Lives in Van Ends in Fatal Gunfire

The suspect called 911 to report the shooting and was taken into custody for questioning.

A man who repeatedly rammed his truck, according to ABC7 news, into a van was shot and killed by another man in North Hollywood today, authorities said.

The shooting occurred about 6 a.m. in the 7300 block of Fulton Avenue, said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations office. The fatally wounded man died at the scene, she said.

The name of the shooting victim was withheld pending family notification.

The suspect called 911 to report the shooting and was taken into custody for questioning, Herrera said. The circumstances of the crime, which apparently involved a dispute between the men, were under investigation.
