Double Homicide Shuts Down Van Nuys Boulevard

PANORAMA CITY, CA — Two men were fatally shot Friday at a bus bench in Panorama City, police said.

The men, in their 20s, were shot about 3:20 a.m. near Van Nuys Boulevard and Chase Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

One man died at the scene, and the other died at a hospital, said LAPD Officer Drake Madison. Their names were withheld, pending family notification.

There were no immediate arrests, and no suspect information was available. Van Nuys Boulevard was closed between Roscoe Boulevard and Parthenia Street while an investigation was conducted.
