Elderly Woman Struck, Killed by Car in NoHo

A 77-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle and killed Friday nigh in North Hollywood.

The crash at the intersection of Kittridge Street and Irvine Avenue was reported at 9:07 p.m., said a coroner’s investigator who only gave her last name.

The victim died at the scene, she said.

An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division declined to provide any information about the crash, citing the active investigation.
