A great introduction to our classes for anyone who hasn’t yet been (or for anyone who wants a refresher, or just needs something fun to do on Saturday afternoon!). Herbs and medicinal foods are traditional medicines that form the basis of our own traditional health care system, and are still used throughout the world, a primary source of health care in many countries. In this fun, aromatic and flavorful class, you’ll learn about traditional North American & European herbs for healing, nourishment, health maintenance, and first aid.

You’ll have the opportunity to try different forms of herbal medicines and medicinal foods, and will take home a number of different handmade products, including teas, tinctures and salves, recipes to make your own herbal medicines at home, and a solid base of knowledge of herbs and foods for healing.
