Kevin & Patrice love making music together. Their sounds are sophisticated, original and moving.

Kevin hails from Los Angeles and Patrice from New York City.

Kevin and Patrice have been spreading a “Whole New Way of Thinking” nationally and abroad, with standing room crowds in Los Angeles, New York City, Havana and other fine cities. Kevin fronts a stunningly beautiful, swinging band, featuring outstanding original compositions and championing the compositional works of the great American masters Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk and others.

Patrice Quinn is art and soul. In addition to being a fine vocalist, she is also a well decorated actress, featured in film, stage and television, including  “NYPD Blue”, “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”, “Melrose Place” and John Patrick Shanley’s play “Doubt.”

 

Kevin O’Neal is a Grammy winning bassist, specializing in acoustic music and multi-media productions, who has mastered the piano and is a brilliant writer, arranger, vocalist, director and composer. He has lent his talents, in concert and recording settings to diverse artists including Tracy Chapman, Barry Harris, Nnenna Freelon, Busboys (a founding member) Stix Hooper, Hank Crawford, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr. and many others.

 

Kevin also composed the music for the Walter Mosley penned 9 hour radio drama “Black Betty”, and has composed for and appeared in the pace setting films “48 Hours”, “Ghostbusters” and “Devil with the Blue Dress.”
