Just in time for holiday shopping, the Autry Store presents a show and sale of handmade pottery, rugs, and clothing. Master carver Jacob Angeles Ojeda will showcase his intricate carving and painting techniques. Ojeda’s work will be available for purchase along with a diverse selection of Oaxacan pieces from other artists, including whimsical carvings and embroidered dresses, scarves, and shirts. Master potters Jorge Quintana and Damián Quezada will present their beautifully hand-coiled and -painted pottery alongside works from other artists from Mata Ortiz, Mexico. Hundreds of hand-woven Zapotec rugs will be available in all price ranges.
