Man Arrested Near Biden Venue With Loaded Gun
Los Angeles police report that the man "breached a zone" around the location where the vice president is scheduled to speak.

A 62-year-old Los Angeles man who allegedly had a loaded gun in his car outside a North Hollywood business just hours before Vice President Joe Biden visited the company was arrested today.
Larry Ira Estrin was detained about 9:15 a.m. near Bobrick Washroom Equipment, 6901 Tujunga Ave., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said Estrin was stopped at a checkpoint outside the business, which was under heavy security due to Biden’s afternoon visit, when police were alerted -- apparently by a police dog -- about a possible gun in the vehicle. Police searched the vehicle and found a loaded weapon inside.
