Man Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver on Hollywood Freeway

A man in his 20s was killed by a hit-and-run motorist this morning on an off-ramp from the Hollywood (170) Freeway, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The incident was at 12:09 a.m. on the Sherman Way off-ramp from the northbound Hollywood Freeway, said CHP Officer Monica Posada.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Posada said.

The off-ramp and lanes 3 and 4 of the northbound 170 were shut down for the accident investigation, she said.
