Her ground-breaking efforts include the books, The Construction of Tragedy, There Are No Enemies and the 800 page tome, Anzac To Understanding.
Mann says it is her destiny to be an artist.
“My destiny is to be an artist,” she said, “because the muse requires it. Writing is my life’s work.”
The North Hollywood resident of over 30 years and author of nine books points out that through her work she has learned that it is possible to have peace in the world, but every human being needs to activate their own personal conscience.
“Your conscience doesn’t let you kill,” Mann said. “We need to come to a place where laws to kill are unnecessary. No country in the world should require their citizens to kill because you are then asking them to violate their own conscience. That’s why they’re all going mad. We need to talk and negotiate through our differences...It’s not the soldiers, it’s the laws that need to be changed.”
This series is scheduled to take place every three months.
There will also be refreshments, book signings, sales and mingling.
The event is free, but donations are accepted.
