North Hollywood High Boys Baseball Team Advances to City Section Championship
The Huskies have not won a city title since 1957.
The North Hollywood boys baseball team cruised to a 6-0 victory over Lincoln in a City Section Div. II semifinal baseball game at Birmingham High Tuesday.
According to MaxPreps.com and the Daily News, North Hollywood (13-17) will face L.A. Wilson at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dodger Staduim in the City Section Division II championship game. Freshman pitcher Andrew Marmor threw six shutout innings.
The Daily News reported this will be the Huskies' first championship-game appearance in 31 years and fourth in program history. North Hollywood last won the city title in 1957.
