Overturned Dump Truck Shuts Down Hollywood (170) Freeway
The northbound Hollywood (170) Freeway in North Hollywood was shut down during the afternoon rush hour Tuesday.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A dump truck overturned on the northbound Hollywood (170) Freeway near Oxnard Street Tuesday, spilling a load of dirty onto the read and shutting down four lanes of the freeway.
The crash, which may have involved addition vehicles, happened shortly after 3:38 p.m. Tuesday, forcing four lane closures for more than two hours, according to the California Highway Patrol. Commuters are advised to expect extensive delays while crews work to clean up the mess.
Los Angeles Fire Department authorities are advising drivers to avoid the area.

The truck driver declined medical treatment. A 49-year-old woman driving a sedan was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
