Police Bust Street Racers, Stunt Drivers in Home Depot Parking Lot
Police responded to resident complaints with a show of force to catch North Hollywood street racers in the act.

Los Angeles police responded to complaints of street racing on Sherman Way and risky driving stunts in the Home Depot parking lot in North Hollywood with an impromptu show of force, resulting in two arrests, 10 citations and at least three cars impounded, police said today.
The complaints began coming into police about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to LAPD Officer Lilliana Preciado.
Officers from North Hollywood responded to the Home Depot lot and surrounding area on Sherman Way, just east of Lankershim Boulevard, Preciado said.

“It wasn’t a task force,” Preciado said. “It was just officers responding to citizen complaints.”
Preciado said that when LAPD Valley Traffic Division heard the radio calls from North Hollywood they joined in to stop the street racing on Sherman Way and stunt-like driving in the Home Depot lot.
